Man I'm tired

Man, I have been outside all day. Running after one thing or another, chasing the cats, bugging Rollie. I am bushed. Think I will take time out for a nap. Mom and dad weren't kidding when they said they would be home all day. They got up and we went to town for a bit, but came back and have been working here all day. Mom is sewing up a storm again, she hasn't been able to for a couple of weeks and needs to get some more tees done for the store. Dad is mowing the grass in between the rains. He said he ran over a garter snake, but I couldn't find it, drat that would have been something different to roll in. Opps, mom heard that and said it's time for a bath. Wow, I should watch what I say around her. Guess I'd better go check on the cats, one came on the back porch to eat. Have to make sure it went back outside where it belongs. Later gaters, LB

Mom came home

Hey everyone Mom came home. YEA Bug here and I am so happy. Mom came home for the weekend. Steve is still in the hospital, he might be coming home next week not sure though. I don't know whether to sit on her lap or have her scratch my ears or do both at the same time. She says I stink, just some of the puppy perfume I have on. She and dad are going to stay with me and let me play outside all day tomorrow. She has to go back to the hospital on Monday, but I get to see her for TWO WHOLE DAYS. I don't want her to go, but I know Steve needs her too. The doctors say that Steve is getting better and I can hardly wait to see him when he gets home. Think I will sneak out someday and surprise him. Just thought you would like to know that Mom is home. LB

Good morning, Bug here. Mom called and talked with dad last night. Steve is getting better but still has to stay in the hospital. She is hoping they can come home soon. I know she wants to get back and start sewing a jean jacket for me to wear when the weather turns nippy. She has to tear apart some old jeanas of dad's and remake them into something for me. When she gets it done, she will take my picture and let you see what it looks like. If she could have, she would have brought the sewing machine with to the hospital but didn't have a carrying case for it. Butchy and Snicker's mom, Linda, and mom are anxious about how their store is going to go. They are waiting for the first sale. Someone out there, please buy something. We get a treat when they make a sale, please for the sake of all three of us who need a new toy or two. Thanks. Well, time to watch the cats through the window and bark at them. Talk later, LB

Good day

Today, mom is home for a short time. She brought grandpa home and is going back. Steve is doing better, but still has a way to go. He is still in intermediate care (step down from intensive care). They got him out of bed yesterday and made him wash his hair. Don't know why, it looked really cool all plastered to his head, NOT. It is so good to see mom, I missed her, but I know she needs to be with Steve. She says I have to have a bath cause I stink. No way, I think I smell good. Anyway if she gives me a bath, I will just go out and roll in something again. Can't stop the princess from finding the good smelling stuff. Guess I'd better go check on the kittens and see if they need a ride. I love to drag them around by their tail. Have a good day. LB

Thanks for thoughts and paws crossed

I want to thank all of you for the thoughts and paws crossed for Steve. This is mom here, he is doing better but they still don't know what is causing all the problems. He is actually in Children's of Minneapolis, a little farther north than Mayo Clinic.

Butchy and Snickers, thanks for all the modeling stuff, you sure look great. I promise some new toys as soon as the stuff starts to sell. Keep up the good work.

I will try to post as often as I can....have limited access to computers and have to wait sometimes for them to get free. This is too busy a place for parents to keep in touch with others.

Again, thanks. Pat and Ladybug
