I've Been Tagged

I was tagged by Ozzy. Now I must come up with three things I want for Christmas and three things I don't want for Christmas.

The three things I would like for Christmas are.....
1. A new beagley brother or sister
2. Lots of chew toys and balls to chase around the yard
3. Mom to be able to come out and live with me and Dad forever

The three things I wouldn't want to get for Christmas are...
1. Frozen water in the house
2. Strangers making loud noises outside, I get skeered of them
3. Rollie moving into the house for good. He's too big to do that.

The five people I tagged are....
1. Butchy and Snickers, they are my bestest friends that live close to me. I know they have been tagged before but I couldn't resist.
2. Sammy
3. Nugget
4. Buster
5. Loui

Now lets get on with the game. Choose three things you want for Christmas and three things you don't want to get for Christmas. List those things and choose 5 friends you want to tag. Make sure to leave them a note in the blog to let them know they have been tagged.

Christams Pawty Pictures

Happy Howlidays to all. Here's a picture of the Snoop Doggs Christmas tree. We all decorated it prawty for the pawty last Friday night. It was so bootiful to watch all the prawty lights twinkle on and off. A good time was had by all. The top picture is of the gang. I'm in the front with a white dress. One of the moms from the group also made us a calendar for 2007, it's awesome. Part of the proceeds will benefit our rescue fund. If you want to see it, let me know and mom will give you the addy to it. Well, it's time to get back to watching the cats and making sure they are behaving. Santa Paws is watching them, too.

Pawty

Wow, the pawty was exciting last night. I had such a good time. There was a gate crasher who kidnapped one of our members. We found them though and she came back to continue until dawn the pawty. It was great to see all the friends. I got a pawsent from my secret Santa Paws. A new brudder, and a nice place to sit and watch him. Mom let me stay on the puter for a while so I could help with the rescue, then Dad came home and I had to leave. I can't believe it's almost Christmas. I don't even have a pawsent for Mom or Dad. Help, what do I do? Anyway I know I won't be getting my first request (a new brudder or sistah) so I hope to get some chewies to chew on and new toys to destroy. The weather is staying warm so I don't think there will be a white Christmas. Santa how do you get around with no snow? I don't have a 4x4 that you can use. You could drive the tractor, if you can get it away from Dad. He has it parked in the shed. Don't worry about the sheep, they run every time I get close to them. I'll help. Well, guess I'd better be on cat patrol. They need to remember who is boss. Happy Holidays to all. LadyBug

Mom came out

Oh My, Mom came out last night. I was so excited to see her. I sat on her shoulder for the longest time just watching everything going on. She came with dad for the evening. They fixed dinner and I got to have part of Mom's. Then I went outside and chewed on the deer bones that Rollie drags home. They sure are good. When I came in both Mom and Dad played with me, I didn't know who to get the maddest at. One would fuss with me in the front and the other would fuss with me in the back. Got me all bamfoozled. But I loved it anyway. I gots an invite to a pawty on Friday night. It's a Christmas pawty with my friends from Snoop Doggs group. I even have a new dress to wear. I will try to post it. We have secret Santas and everything. It's going to be a swinging time. All the best dressed beagles will be there. Can't hawdly wait to see what my Santa got me. I would love to get new house, diamond leash or something I know Mom and Dad can't get me. One of my friends on Snoop Doggs found out she has cancer. She starts chemo on Monday. I would like all of my friends to cross their paws and say a prayer that she can stay for a long time with her hoomans. Guess I'd better get back to sleeping in front of the stove. I think I heard Mom say she couldn't come back tonight, something about going to MN for the night. I want to go with!!!!! Happy Holidays to all Ladybug

Snow?

Well, we had snow and now it's gone. What's the deal? Santa can't deliver my presents without snow for the sleigh. Anyway, Mom came to visit again. It was so much fun with her there. I like it when she throws all the toys and I can bring them back to her. She did find my stash of eyes. You see, I like chewing the eyes out of the toys and then chewing on them. That way the toys can't tell when I am going to eat them. She even threw the eyes away. I got the evil brush, too. Mom likes me to be so neat, I try to eat the brush but never get a chance. Once, I even bit Mom by mistake. Boy, was she mad. Mom likes her new present. She might even sew something for me. The first one didn't work so she had to take it back and the pawple gave her another one. That one worked. Since then she has been sewing up a storm. Anyone need any doll clothes, just let her know, she has a lot. She even has a store where she sells them. Check out The Doll Page Sellers Market under Pattycake Kreations. I wish I could wear some of them, but they are too small. Oh, Mom found a place where they have poogles. Dad and Mom might check them out in the spring and see if there is a brother or sister out there for me. That would be pawstively exciting. Time to go and check on the fat cats. They have their fur on for the winter. Bug Hugs, Ladybug

Happy Holidays

Howdy to ya all, Bug here. It's been a cold week and I miss Mom. She hasn't been able to come out to see me. Dad and I are babysitting the corn stove, keeping it full and the house warm. That's the hard part of a corn stove, making sure it's still running even when really cold. Dad has to fill it every morning before he goes to work to make sure the house is warm for me. Did you see my picture up there? That's me on Butchy and Snickers deck this summer when I went over to celebrate Snickers' b'day. Mom is learning how to add things to pictures so she decided to use that one. I like it, just don't have the Santa hat. Well, it's almost that time for Santa to come. I think I have been good this year, I haven't rolled too many times in the doggie perfume. I try to not chase the cats and drag them around the yard like my toys. I wonder what Mom and Dad will be getting me. Hope it's something nice and comfortable to sleep in. I would like a brother or sister but don't think I will be getting one until the weather is warmer. Bummer! I guess I'd better be signing off and getting the stove ready for the night. Hope Santa paws brings you everything you want and then some. Bug Hugs Ladybug

Turkey day is past

and I didn't even get any turkey. It's raining outside now, I don't like it but it's better than the rest of the week. SNOW coming and COLD weather. I have had a lot of fun this weekend, mom and dad have both been here with me. Dad is having to start the corn stove to keep us warm. I hear thunder outside, think it's time to shut down this computer and keep this short. Mom is going to go back to sewing a lot more doll clothes. Check her store out at The Doll Page under Pattycake Kreations, she has nothing over 4.95 plus shipping and handling for the clothes. To all my friends 2 footed and 4 pawed, have a great holiday season, I'll be back with the list for Santa. Bug Hugs, Ladybug

SNOW

What a weather day. First it rained, then it sleeted and finally SNOW. Where oh where is the 70 degree weather we had the other day? Mom put my sweater on, geesh, it was so embarrassing to go out there in front of the cats with that on. Even Rollie was laughing at me. Next she will be getting me some booties to wear. She doesn't like my cold feet when I come in and put them on her. Mom and dad are so picky, they won't let me sit with them unless they have a blanket on their laps. They don't like the smell I have on me. It's only doggie perfume. I think it smells good. I can't even tell it's on me. Guess I'd better go and sit on dad's lap, we're getting ready to watch the truck race. Go Terry Cook, he drives a power stroke deisel sponsored Ford truck. Here's to warmer weather LadyBug

Where's the sun?

Yesterday was so nice. What happened to the sun? I am still tired from all the time outside, need to take another nap. Just wanted to let you know about mom's store at The Doll Page Seller's Market. She has some clothes for dolls under Pattycake Kreations. She is really sewing up a storm and wants everyone know she has things for sale. She will even do custom orders for your special little girl. Guess I'd better get back to the nap department. Have a sunny day. Bug Hugs, Ladybug

What a day

Mom came out to see us. I was so excited when she drove into the yard, I jumped in the van and gave her kisses. It's been so long since she got to spend some time with me. Dad was out working on the well cover, mom dug potatoes from the garden before the ground freezes. Me, well I am so tired tonight. Spent the WHOLE day outside chasing the cats and sheep. The kittens are so nice to let me drag them around. Mom says she wishes one would scratch me in the nose so I would quit. Fat chance of that. The little ones hide in the wheels of the car so I can't get to them, hope dad checks for cats before he starts it. Once I chased the sheep and nobody could get me to stop. When they caught me, I was put in time out for a while watching the race on TV with mom in the house. I can't help it, I like chasing them especially when they run away from me. Dad almost got the cover done for the well, it's a long way down to the bottom. He doesn't want the water to freeze this winter. Guess I'd better get back to napping. Dad is watching TV and mom went back to town to do some sewing. Later gator, Bug Hugs Ladybug

Mom's been busy

She is sewing, sewing, sewing. She doesn't even have time to play with me. It seems she needs something to do so she is making doll clothes for all the grand daughters and to sell. I don't even get to have any new clothes unless I am a Barbie doll or baby doll. Think I could pass for one of them, I am so cute. Dad is spending the weekend working at the acreage so I get to spend a lot of time outside. It's fun getting to chase the cats and roll in the new doggie doo. If mom gets to smell me I know I will be getting a bath. Better watch for her coming down the road. She said she is going to spend some time with us tomorrow while her son's dad takes him for a few hours. Both mom and her son came back from the hospital again this week, it was the 4th time in 3 months that he has been there. I get so sad when she is gone. I go nuts when she calls dad on the phone and then talks with me. I try to eat the phone and look all over the house for her. Well, I guess I'd better get back to cat watching. Mom is going to do some more sewing. You can check out some of her creations at The Doll Page Sellers Market listed under "P" for Pattycake Kreations. Let her know if there is anything special you would like to see there. Later, Bug Hugs Ladybug

Counting the days

Til we get to see Missouri. Dad is working a lot of overtime so he is ready to rumble down the road. Mom is getting anxious too, she really needs the break from all the stress of the summer. It was a LONG summer spent somewhere other than home. Well, guess I'd better see what the cats are up to so I can chase them. Those little ones are just about big enough to drag around, if they would just quit hissing at me. See you when I get back. LB

One week

and I should be in Missouri. Dad starts vacation and hopefully mom is going to get things together so she can come with. Steve had to move home and she is trying to find somewhere or someone for him to stay with while we are gone. She needs a vacation really bad or she might flip out. Things are not going smoothly for her and Steve since he had to move out of his apartment. They are trying to find another place for him to stay, but it is not easy since he is still in school. Hopefully he will graduate early and can find somewhere in the area. Guess I'd better check on the cats and make sure they are not in trouble. Bug Hugs, Bug

Sunday, September 17, 2006

Dad just talked with grandma and told her we are coming to visit. In about 2 weeks we will be traveling south to see all that Missouri has to offer. BUT, I have to take a BATH. They don't want all the stinky smell for the trip down there. I can always roll in some more when I get down there. Grandma and grandpa live near a big lake, I don't know if we will get to ride a boat on the lake or not. I have to be very good when I am there. Mom and dad said I have to be or I don't get to go. Better get started on being good, don't want to miss the chance to go with. I love traveling. Bug Hugs, Ladybug

I came to town

Last night I got to come to town. To many that is not a big deal, but to me that means a ride and staying with mom and dad at the town house. Mom said something about shots. Hope that doesn't mean what I think it does, gasp, the VET. They forgot to bring my kennel with them so I got to sleep on the floor. That was fun cause I got to give them kisses all night long on their feet and hands. Got mom up real early this morning wanting to go outside. Guess I'd better get ready to go, mom says it's time to get in the van. I'll let you know what is going on when I get back from my ride. Bug Hugs, Ladybug

Happy Day

It's Friday and I'm ready for the weekend. It usually means mom and dad will be around more and I get to run. I finally got to meet the kittens, Yowler has 4 little babies. Mom might get a picture of them so everyone can see them. It's been a long time since I wrote, mom has been really busy. Steve is back to school and getting along just great. He might even get to graduate in January. That would be great cause mom could get some more work done with me at the acreage. She is also trying to get some sewing done for the grand daughters and their dolls. If there is anything extra I think she is talking about selling them so anyone who would like to have her make anything let me know and I will pass it on to her. She is also knitting hats and mittens for all the grandkids for Christmas presents. Keeps her busy as a bee. Better get busy and check on the kitties, they are finally getting used to me. I love to play with them. Later Gator, Bug Hugs Ladybug

September

Where does the time go? It's almost fall and that can only mean one thing, snow is not far away. I don't like it, it's cold and yukky underfoot. The cats are usually hiding and I can't play outside as long. I know I have a new coat to wear but that don't help the paws any. Mom is home again, yea. She is sewing up a storm to help Butchy and Snickers mom with the store stuff. When things are made, I have to run cause she makes me try things on. I tried to stop her one day, I took all the pins out of the red thing and had them all over the floor. Boy did she yell at me. Then last night she found another pin on the floor and let me look at it. It BIT me in the nose!!!! I didn't know it would do that. Guess I'd better leave those alone. It's what the people call a long weekend, not sure why but that means dad and mom will be here with me. I get to play outside almost all day, chasing whatever gets in my path. They don't know what they are going to do, but I know I will like it cause they always let me tag along. I have a couple of new places I visit. One of them lets me have a lot of pup pals. Every time mom opens the mail another one wants to be friends with me, I love it. I get to meet pups from around the world right in the computer. Mom says it's a good way to see the world without leaving home. Well, it's almost time for mom to watch some TV, she has a couple of programs that she likes. Bug hugs for now Ladybug

Man I'm tired

Man, I have been outside all day. Running after one thing or another, chasing the cats, bugging Rollie. I am bushed. Think I will take time out for a nap. Mom and dad weren't kidding when they said they would be home all day. They got up and we went to town for a bit, but came back and have been working here all day. Mom is sewing up a storm again, she hasn't been able to for a couple of weeks and needs to get some more tees done for the store. Dad is mowing the grass in between the rains. He said he ran over a garter snake, but I couldn't find it, drat that would have been something different to roll in. Opps, mom heard that and said it's time for a bath. Wow, I should watch what I say around her. Guess I'd better go check on the cats, one came on the back porch to eat. Have to make sure it went back outside where it belongs. Later gaters, LB

Mom came home

Hey everyone Mom came home. YEA Bug here and I am so happy. Mom came home for the weekend. Steve is still in the hospital, he might be coming home next week not sure though. I don't know whether to sit on her lap or have her scratch my ears or do both at the same time. She says I stink, just some of the puppy perfume I have on. She and dad are going to stay with me and let me play outside all day tomorrow. She has to go back to the hospital on Monday, but I get to see her for TWO WHOLE DAYS. I don't want her to go, but I know Steve needs her too. The doctors say that Steve is getting better and I can hardly wait to see him when he gets home. Think I will sneak out someday and surprise him. Just thought you would like to know that Mom is home. LB

Tuesday, August 15, 2006

Good morning, Bug here. Mom called and talked with dad last night. Steve is getting better but still has to stay in the hospital. She is hoping they can come home soon. I know she wants to get back and start sewing a jean jacket for me to wear when the weather turns nippy. She has to tear apart some old jeanas of dad's and remake them into something for me. When she gets it done, she will take my picture and let you see what it looks like. If she could have, she would have brought the sewing machine with to the hospital but didn't have a carrying case for it. Butchy and Snicker's mom, Linda, and mom are anxious about how their store is going to go. They are waiting for the first sale. Someone out there, please buy something. We get a treat when they make a sale, please for the sake of all three of us who need a new toy or two. Thanks. Well, time to watch the cats through the window and bark at them. Talk later, LB

Sunday, August 13, 2006

Good day

Today, mom is home for a short time. She brought grandpa home and is going back. Steve is doing better, but still has a way to go. He is still in intermediate care (step down from intensive care). They got him out of bed yesterday and made him wash his hair. Don't know why, it looked really cool all plastered to his head, NOT. It is so good to see mom, I missed her, but I know she needs to be with Steve. She says I have to have a bath cause I stink. No way, I think I smell good. Anyway if she gives me a bath, I will just go out and roll in something again. Can't stop the princess from finding the good smelling stuff. Guess I'd better go check on the kittens and see if they need a ride. I love to drag them around by their tail. Have a good day. LB

Thanks for thoughts and paws crossed

I want to thank all of you for the thoughts and paws crossed for Steve. This is mom here, he is doing better but they still don't know what is causing all the problems. He is actually in Children's of Minneapolis, a little farther north than Mayo Clinic.

Butchy and Snickers, thanks for all the modeling stuff, you sure look great. I promise some new toys as soon as the stuff starts to sell. Keep up the good work.

I will try to post as often as I can....have limited access to computers and have to wait sometimes for them to get free. This is too busy a place for parents to keep in touch with others.

Again, thanks. Pat and Ladybug
